Introduction
This is sort of a test entry, sort of an introduction. Jordana Williams, Mac Rogers and I have spent the last year or so working on a musical called “Fleet Week”, and we have been offered a slot in the upcoming New York International Fringe Festival. Lindsay Bowen has signed on as a producer with us, and we are now in pre-production hell, meeting with directors and creative staff and actors and generally running around bouncing off the walls with excitement and nervous energy.

This was, honestly, two days before we started writing Fleet Week. We were listening to ourselves on the radio in the fingerlakes region of New York and they broke through to tell us that our latest show had been turned down by the Fringe Festival. It took us two days to say, “Maybe we should write a gay sailor musical…”
Once we got the show more or less written, we knew we would have to have someone record it who had vocal talent. which eliminated Mac and Lindsay. Micah agreed to do the recordings for a one hour backrub and two tickets to the new DMX movie. We figured it was a bargain.
