Micah Bucey (Seaman Stayn) won a 2004 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for his performance in The Only Thing Straight Is My Jacket, which was developed by Y theatre? of which he is a founding member. Other Y theatre? Fringe Festival credits include The House of Merry and The Rape of the Lock. Micah currently performs in his demonic musical duo GIGGLES & GRIM with Drew Edwards.
Renee Delio (Myra)- Since Renee graduated from NYU in 04 she has spent most of her time making people laugh, both onstage and just for craps and giggles. The rest of her time is divided between working odd jobs, daydreaming, crying, and analyzing her life decisions. There is a good chance that with some luck, and a vigorous barista training process, you will see her working at a Starbucks near you in the near future. She sincerely thanks the Cast and Gideon Productions for being so entertaining, teaching her so much about gay culture, and giving her a chance to play.

Brian Karim (Coq Au Vin) hails from Southern California. He studied Theatre at the California State University of Long Beach, where he played in a number of main stage shows. After college he went on to be featured\guest starring in several television shows and independent films. After leaving California, he moved to New York City. While living in New York He has been cast in several off and off-off Broadway shows including: In Search of a Goddess (New Victory Theater, 42nd st) Platanos and Collard Greens (The Producers Club and Tour), Broke (Rita and Burton Goldberg Theater), Black Thang (Theatresource), Mourning Light (Theatresource). Brian is also currently filming the Highline Studios sketch comedy pilot “Comic Disobedience”.
Marnie Klar (Jane) is delighted to be making her Fringe debut in Fleet Week. Most recently, Marnie performed to a sold out crowd in her one-woman show at Don’t Tell Mama, directed by Richard Sabellico. A BFA graduate from the University of Miami, some of Marnie’s favorite credits include Cinderella in Into The Woods, Venus in Shakespeare’s Venus and Adonis, B in Three Tall Women, Elmire in Tartuffe, And The World Goes ‘Round and Mame, which was directed by Jerry Herman. Rob Maitner (The Chaplain) originated the role of Mr. McQueen in the original FringeNYC production of URINETOWN! (Fringe and OOBR Awards). Rob has appeared twice more in the festival, winning a Fringe Performance Award for his portrayal of Shannon in Brad Fraser’s Poor Super Man. Off-Broadway, Rob appeared as Matthew in Fairy Tales at the WPA Theatre (Bistro Award, Outstanding Performer in a Revue). Other New York credits include Corpus Christi (John the Baptist), A Clockwork Orange (Dim, OOBR Award), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Einstein) and Betty’s Summer Vacation (Mrs. Seizmagraff). Laura Perloe (Seaman Swallows) is very excited to be a part of the Fringe for the first time! She recently graduated with a BFA in MT from Syracuse University and has also studied at NYU’s CAP21. Christopher Davis (Choreographer) has appeared in 7 Broadway shows, 3 motion pictures and numerous tv shows. He is a 2000 recipient of the Presidents Award from Dance Masters of America for his exemplary work in the field of dance. Mr. Davis has choreographed for recording artists the Tamperer, Adam & Steve, Betty D(formerly of Expose), the NYC Gay Pride Pier Dance, Blue Ball fundraiser in Philadelphia, AxisDanz company, the National Travel Expo, Norwegian Cruise Lines, the Public Theatre and numerous cabarets. Daniel Feyer (Music Director) makes his Fringe debut with this talented crew. Eric Pliner (Director) is a writer and director whose work has been represented during several seasons of the New York International Fringe Festival. He wrote and directed the award-winning 1999 FringeNYC smash JINKIES! (Excellence in Performance, Ensemble Cast), which later enjoyed an extended run as downtown cult hit SPOOKY DOG & THE TEEN-AGE GANG MYSTERIES (Best of 2000, Backstage; Best of 2000, Paper magazine). Eric also directed the sold-out 2003 FringeNYC production of Anthony Gelsomino’s controversial MADONNA in THE TITLE. His latest collaboration with writer/performer Amy Rhodes, GROWING UP AMY, is currently appearing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and his most recent play, MAKE-UP WORK, was featured as part of the New Playwrights Series at Hoboken’s Center for the Performing Arts. Eric’s essays and short fiction also appear in 2004 and 2005 anthologies from Alyson Press and Conari Press.
Mac Rogers (Book) is a playwright based in Astoria. His short musical Fifty Million Dollars was selected for inclusion with Dreams This Way: The Best of Raw Impressions at the 2004 New York Music Theatre Festival. Gideon has produced three of Mac’s plays: Dirty Juanita, The Second String, and The Lucretia Jones Mysteries. Other Manhattan productions include: The Sky Over Nineveh (at the HERE Arts Center), Happening to Your Body and Molly Molly (at manhattantheatresource), and three different productions of his one-act Roll. The Second String has been published by Playscripts.com and one scene of it was included in the Smith & Krauss anthology Best Stage Scenes of 2004.
Paulo Seixas (Set design) is excited to be working with such a great group of people on the production of Fleet Week. He is currently working on the musical Nine, for the Berkshire Theatre in Connecticut. Some of his past credits in regional and experimental theatre include Tommy, associate design with Karl Eigsti for the Spingold Theatre; set design for Don Quixote and Master and Margarita for Double Edge Theatre; Cherry Orchard, Hay Fever and The Silent Alarm for the Berkshire Theatre in CT. As an assistant set designer he has worked on The Tender land, Nine Parts of Desire, Passin’ it On, Loosing The Game, Anything Goes, and Animal Farm. He holds an M.F.A. from Brandeis University in Theatre Design.
Jordana Williams (Lyrics) is a first time lyricist. Playwriting credits include Killer Instinct (The Estrogenius Festival) and Wrestling For Joe (Spontaneous Combustion). Performance credits include C in Three Tall Women, Beth in A Lie of the Mind and Lucretia Jones in The Lucretia Jones Mysteries. She has worked in various capacities with Circle Rep, Cincinnati Playhouse, Berkshire Theater Festival, Playmakers Rep and others. She is writing a romance novel set during the Napoleonic Wars, which she will never, ever finish. With deep gratitude to the most wonderful, supportive family a girl could ever wish for and in loving memory of Madame Cardea.
Sean Williams (Music) was trained in music by his parents, composer Linda Williams and conductor Richard Williams, since he was a small boy. He has worked as a studio musician since the age of fifteen, first as a singer and then as a producer/director for large publishing companies like Silver Burdett, MacMillan and Mcgraw-Hill, and for smaller boutique music educators like MIDI 4 Kids and IDEAs Inc. While studying music at The University of Iowa and drama at University of North Carolina, he wrote music for small rock groups and along side other singer songwriters. In addition to publishing several songs, he has written music for As You Like It and the title song for Gideon Productions’ last show The Lucretia Jones Mysteries.
Lindsay Bowen (Producer) is one of the producers of The 24 Hour Plays and a founder of The 24 Hour Company. Production credits: The 24 Hour Plays On Broadway at the American Airlines Theater w/ plays by Warren Leight, Jeff Whitty and the Broadway debuts of David-Lindsay Abaire, Julia Jordan, Christopher Shinn, and Diana Son (The 24 Hour Co.), Sakharam Binder, Trust, Smashing (as Managing Director of The Play Company), The 24 Hour Plays at the Present Company, Theatorium, Atlantic, INTAR, and Vineyard, among others, in NYC and The Old Vic in London (24 Hour Co.) and The Situation Room (with the Brooklyn Drama Club). He studied drama and writing at UNC and arts admin at NYU and is on the awards committee for the Haber Award for Distinguished North Carolinian in the Arts.
Gideon Productions (Producer) was formed on the belief that intelligent, challenging theater can and must also be entertaining. Past productions include Dirty Juanita, The Second String, The Electric Cat (a Children’s Musical) and several incarnations of The Lucretia Jones Mysteries. Our proudest achievement was INDIVISIBLE, a four-week festival, involving eleven companies, presented in October of 2001 to raise money for the Salvation Army’s 9/11 Fund.
